Snoop Dogg's wife arrested for DUI in S. Calif.
FULLERTON, Calif. - Police say the wife of rapper Snoop Dogg has been arrested in California's Orange County for investigation of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Fullerton police Lt. Craig Brower says officers stopped 32-year-old Shante (Shahn-taye) Broadus of Sherman Oaks about 12:15 a.m. Saturday and took her to jail. She was cited and then released pending a court appearance.
Brower says nobody else was in the car but he didn't have any other details.
Broadus and Snoop Dogg - whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr. - were married in 1997 and have three children.
A message left with Snoop Dogg's publicist was not immediately returned.

Swedish band Love Is All is Josephine Olausson (vocals, keyboard), Johan Lindwall (bass), Markus Görsch (drums), Fredrik Eriksson (saxophone), and Nicholaus Sparding (guitar/vocals). Washington (ANI): Legendary rocker Robert Plant has revealed that he is in no hurry to reunite with Led Zeppelin again – insisting that he is happy touring with the singer Alison Krauss. Plant and Krauss began touring together earlier this year in support of their joint album 'Raising Sand'. The Led Zeppelin frontman said he hoped the collaboration, which he described as "a font of knowledge", would continue for as long as possible. "I'm in no hurry to go anywhere. I want to stay very close. This is a font of knowledge, and I'm sticking as close to it as I can," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

Rocker LENNY KRAVITZ has teamed up with the owners of a luxury hotel in Florida to launch his own state-of-the-art recording studio.
The American Woman hitmaker's company Kravitz Design Inc. created the recording facility for The Setai in Miami Beach and the studio opened on Wednesday (11Jun08).
The Setai Recording Studio, which measures 2,500 square feet, comprises of two live rooms, a vocal booth, control room, lounge and conference room, all equipped with 5.1 high definition audio.
Kravitz says, "In building The Setai Recording Studio, we brought everything we've learned throughout our careers in performing and recording to create an environment that supports and encourages the making of music."
